The Supreme Madonna & Child Tee Black is a short-sleeved black tee shirt that is a collaboration piece between New York– based artist Andres Serrano and the New York design company Supreme, featuring Serrano’s artwork Madonna and Child II.
As part of Supreme’s 2017 fall-winter line up, this predominantly black based all-cotton tee shirt boasts a classic cut. The Black Supreme Madonna & Child Tee sports straight hems on the sleeves and waist and has a crew neck. The front of the shirt bears a print graphic of Andres Serrano’s Madonna and Child II artwork. The original artwork from 1989 is a Cibachrome print and the image uses warm colors such as yellows and golden hues. A Supreme tag is found at the nape.
A standout feature of this tee shirt is the co-branded graphics on the back of the shirt underneath the neck, you’ll spot Andres Serrano in yellow in an Old English font and the Supreme monogram box logo in red and white below it. The Supreme Madonna & Child Tee Black sold for $44 when it was released on September 21, 2017.
