Product Description
The brightly colored Under Armour Curry One "Candy Reign" is one of only a few colorways of Steph’s first signature sneaker to feature a camouflage upper. The Hyper Green and Team Orange colorway is the brightest version of Curry’s first Under Armour signature shoe and it has quite an interesting backstory. Stephen Curry was set to wear his two favorite colors of the UA Curry One over All Star Weekend in New York City, the Candy Reign for the Foot Locker 3-Point Contest and the "Father To Son" pair for the Shooting Stars competition. But somehow both of the pairs went missing, either stolen or lost in transit, just days before the competition. Thankfully, UA responded with quickness and Curry wore the Candy Reign Curry One to win the 2015 3-Point Contest. The Under Armour Curry One features an anaFoam upper and Charged Foam cushioning, which is essentially UA’s Micro G technology with an added layer of responsive cushioning. The dimpled design of the upper is unique on every colorway but the neon green and orange hues of the Candy Reign version are neck-breakers. With Curry winning the 3-Point Contest over NBA All Star Weekend, not to mention the Most Valuable Player award and and NBA championship, it’s no wonder colorways like Candy Riegn were hard to come by when they first landed at retailers. Of course, it didn't hurt that Notre Dame wore the Under Armour Curry One "Candy Reign" during their March Madness run in 2015 either.
