The Virgil Abloh x MCA Figures of Speech Pyrex Hoodie Black is a hooded sweatshirt in Black featuring a black and white photographic image of luggage and a small plane on a tarmac on the front, printed above a kangaroo pocket.

Virgil Abloh, who passed away in 2021 at age 41, created a wide-reaching reputation for his design work during his short life. For the Figures of Speech hoodie, Abloh teamed up with Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory for a triple collaboration between Abloh’s elusive Pyrex Vision brand and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago for their Virgil Abloh exhibit in 2019. Pyrex Vision had been dormant since 2013 at the time of the collaboration. At the Black Virgil Abloh x MCA Figures of Speech Pyrex Hoodie, the Pyrex Vision branding appears on the front, accented by Tumblr-like text in blue and red. The reverse features the artistic description and photo specifications printed in white.
