Product Description
The New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex JJJJound Charcoal is part of the second collaboration between New Balance and JJJJound. This sneaker adapts the 2002R’s signature silhouette to a wintery environment with weatherproof design elements.
For example, although the upper is made of leather and mesh, it incorporates a Gore-Tex lining. This lining prevents water from entering the shoe while allowing the foot to breathe and stay warm. The sneaker’s colorway of charcoal and black speaks to its utilitarian roots. In terms of branding, the New Balance ‘N’ in black leather graces the side panel and 2002R branding can be found near the heel. 'GORE-TEX' lettering in white ink is also printed above the 2002R branding.
Something our StockX experts like is the front lace-up system with an adjustable toggle. It allows the wearer to adapt the sneaker to his or her needs. The New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex JJJJound Charcoal was released on February 15th, 2024, and retailed at $190.
