The Nike Free Metcon 5 Black White is a training sneaker with a sock-like fit and a monochromatic colorway.
The sneaker provides a 7/8-length inner sleeve, which creates an easy entry point. Webbing eyelets for the laces help secure the foot and form a crisscross pattern across the sneaker’s top. In addition, foam padding around the ankle adds comfort and protects this joint. Other technical features include a wide heel, which acts as a base during strength training, and a cushioning foam midsole. The synthetic upper comes in black and has rubber tread in high-wear areas. Finally, a molded heel clip helps the shoe maintain its shape and protects this area from impact stress.
