Themed sneaker packs have become a holiday tradition over the years and the Reebok Kamikaze II "Ghost of Christmas Past" represented for the Shawn Kemp fans in 2013. The Ghost of Christmas Past theme comes from the Charles Dickens novel, A Christmas Story, which has been retold countless times over the years. What remains consistent in the story is the white pajamas and red scarf and hat worn by Ebenezer Scrooge. It’s those colors that brought this festive Reebok to life thanks to a mix of patent, leather and nubuck. While historically the Reebok Kamikaze II may be a more basic combination of colors, this version took on a more elaborate color scheme mixing red hues along with white and grey. Although early samples showed a snow-like icy outsole, the released version featured a semi-transparent red outsole. If you didn’t know, the Kamikaze II began as the second signature sneaker for Seattle Supersonic legend and 6-time NBA All Star, Shawn Kemp way back in 1995. This colorway may be far from the original but when it released alongside the Shaq Attaq and Reebok Question, the Reebok Kamikaze II "Ghost of Christmas Past" was most popular from the Ghost of Christmas Pack.
